A calm look at sustainable development
Credavesta is an independent educational project based in Barcelona. We bring citizens closer to the publicly available information on the development of clean energy, the protection of natural environments and the future of responsible agriculture in Spain.
Global warming: the context that unites us
Our planet is going through a process of climate change recognised by the international scientific community. Finite resources are being depleted faster than in previous decades, and visible effects —prolonged droughts in southern Spain, intense summer heat events and changes in rainfall patterns— remind us how important the protection of the natural environment is. Calm public awareness, based on data published by European institutions, is the first tool of civic development.
Spain's role in green energy
Spain enjoys privileged geographical conditions for the energy transition: many hours of sunlight, windy plains and an extensive coastline. The National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan guides the country's development towards a mostly renewable electricity system on the 2030 horizon. Spanish energy companies, together with regional authorities, are advancing photovoltaic parks in Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia, as well as wind projects in Galicia and Aragon. It is a slow but steady path, oriented towards the protection of the territory.

The future of responsible agriculture
Agriculture 5.0 introduces sensors, open weather data and smart irrigation techniques that reduce water consumption and protect the soil. In regions such as Murcia, Almería and La Rioja, cooperatives are working on low-impact viticulture and olive farming pilots. The goal is clear: to ensure the continuity of traditional agricultural activity, preserve the rural landscape and encourage a harmonious development between technology and nature.

A shared vision for 2030
The world changes, resources are depleted, but communities that share clear and verified information build the foundations of a better future. Credavesta will continue publishing educational reports, summaries of public studies and learning materials designed for schools, neighbourhood associations and readers interested in environmental protection. Spain's green future is not a slogan: it is a collective, patient and steady work.
